About Project
Sarvajanik Kumar Chatralay was established on 1st January 1958 at Dekai village, Near Zariya, Garudeshwar Taluka, Narmada District (393151).
The hostel was founded by Shri Manubhai Premshankar Bhatt, Smt. Geetaben Manubhai Bhatt and Shri Dilkhushbhai Diwanji (Karadi village, freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to uplifting the underprivileged.
This boys hostel was created especially for scheduled tribe and economically challenged students, ensuring that education and shelter were accessible to all without financial burden. Since its inception, the hostel has stood by its noble principle, not a single penny has ever been charged from the students, even up to the present day.
