About Project

Mamta Kanya Chatralay was established on 26th December 1974 at Kharach village, Near ITI, Via Birla Road, Hansot Taluka, Bharuch (394120).

The hostel was founded by Shri Manubhai Premshankar Bhatt, Smt. Geetaben Manubhai Bhatt and Shri Dilkhushbhai Diwanji (Karadi village), respected freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the welfare of society.

This girls hostel was built with the belief that “one lady can lead the whole family”. It was created to promote women empowerment and education, ensuring that young girls from rural areas have access to safe accommodation, learning opportunities and the support they need to thrive.
