About Project
Gyanoday Kumar Chatralay was established on 2nd June 1973 at Kharach village, Near ITI, Via Birla Road, Hansot Taluka, Bharuch (394120).
The hostel was founded by Shri Manubhai Premshankar Bhatt, Smt. Geetaben Manubhai Bhatt and Shri Dilkhushbhai Diwanji (Karadi village), respected freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the upliftment of society.
Their vision was to create a space where young boys could access education, shelter and support. Even after independence, the founders continued their service to the people of Bharuch and Narmada districts and this hostel stands as a living testimony of their commitment to social welfare and education.
